Home-movie-like documentary about the craziness of film-making in Hollywood (and beyond). The débutante film-maker Wetzel (1972, Tübingen) follows the veteran supporting actor and scriptwriter O'Neal Compton, who wants to make a film of his own one day. He exploits all his knowledge, acquaintances and energy to convince the film world that the film has to be made. But sometimes even the most animated conviction is not enough.
