Au champ d'honneur

A famous mountaineer, Ferdinand Croz, sets out to climb the Pic de Bure with his wife, Jeanne, taking the easy route. On the way, he tries to convince her to climb the extremely arduous north face. She obstinately refuses to follow him. During the climb, Jeanne takes a step that's a little too big.
