Ann-Sofi Sidén has since 1989 played the role of QM (Queen of Mud), a kind of neolithic, mud-bedecked primeval woman in performances, on photos and in videos. In this capacity she can also be seen in this fiction film, in which she is the object of study of a female researcher, doctor Ruth Fielding. The multi-layered film mixes myth with reality, fiction with pseudo-scientific rationality and dreams with waking.
