Sergei Paradyanov, the Georgian director who had a very special bond with Hubert Bals and died in 1990, is portrayed by Don Askarian with archive footage, fragments of interviews and scenes from his films.Don Askarian, as a synopsis: 'The year is 1989. The place is the film festival in Rotterdam. Farewell at the Hilton Hotel. And Paradyanov says: "Help me make Confession." I answer: "As a child of two fathers, the film will be born as a bastard." I really wanted to say: "This randy, greedy, filthy lady called cinema has to be fucked... And only by loners, who can be counted on the fingers of one hand, only those who work in deep and endless loneliness..." Later, when he lay dying slowly in Armenia, he kept asking if I would visit him. When I eventually went, he pretended to be dead. Then I took from my pocket a cloth I had bought from a gypsy in Goa (all the winds of the Indian Ocean were not able to drive away the strong smell of her genitals) and unfolded it: there was a lion watching TV on it, an elephant... He opened his eyes to look at the ring of the woman who had come with me - the diamondsand sapphires were real. Sergei pushed himself up with surprise - and the whore's death left us alone for a couple of hours... Then he died, after which the hoi polloi and jackals started fighting over the percentages of his fame.'
