Leche was made five years ago (and also shown in Rotterdam at the time), and is now programmed in the context of Mala leche, the latest film by Naomi Uman with the same protagonists. In Leche, Uman records in powerful black-and-white images everyday life for a peasant family in Central Mexico. It is a far from idyllic portrait. America beckons.
