A tired man finds himself drawn into an escalating battle with a series of hypnotic projections, intent on depriving him of a good nights sleep. These apparitions multiply, carving up his bedroom and pushing him towards despair. In his fitful moments of sleep relief is found as he dreams about the forgotten ice trade of the 19th century.
