With a probing video technique the photographer Cumming portrays people on the fringes or even in the gutter of society. In this portrait he follows Colin (in his fifties) who looks back on a devastating life of alcohol and drug addiction. Cumming films very close, makes no moral judgement and doesn’t seem to know shame.
