The parents of five sisters have been married for forty years, reason enough for the girls to meet up in the family holiday home to make a video for them. Alongside cheerful high points, the meeting is also characterised by many venomous confrontations. Brittle is an intimate film about rivalry in a family and about the need for a feeling of solidarity.
