Frank Bannister is a fraud in paranormal affairs. He has three perfect business partners: cheap, dedicated and... dead. Frank earns his meagre wages by 'clearing ghosts' for people in cooperation with this three ghostly mates. But he is probably not the only one in the small town of Fairwater who is involved with paranormal affairs. A series of deaths as a result of mysterious heart attacks and other bizarre events point to the presence of a malevolent poltergeist. When an over-eager FBI agent accuses Frank and Frank's girlfriend seems in danger, Frank tries to solve the supernatural vicious circle of violence by venturing into a place where all fears come true and where real evil neverdies. This cinematographic mixture of mystery, horror, comedy and suspense uses the folklore and mythology of spiritual mediums, spirits and the afterlife in a very original way. Frank Bannister (Michael J. Fox) and his assistants are a bizarre quartet that has to fight a bunch of fantastic designer ghosts. The special effects were by specialist Wes Takahasi (The Mask, Back to the Future) and the film can be regarded as a logical big budget sequel to the first two bizarre features by near-cult director Peter Jackson. He is also represented in the Fake-programme with Forgotten Silver.
