At the start we see an interview between an off screen interviewer and Serge Daney who is on screen with his back to a wall. The wall is blue and peeling. It is an interview for TV. The background is replaced by the snow familiar from TV and video in which film images and title rolls emerge and disappear again. The impression is created that the snow is pursued by film shots. (Daney liked to stress that he came from cinema and that he criticised television form that standpoint.) The film also cuts away or changes channels to spoken fragments from Daney's book Salaire du zappeur, in which his contributions to Libération are collected.
