The makers describe the film as a musical Bunt- Film, that can mean both colourful and cheerful as well as crazy; has all these characteristics. The film is set during a summer night in Hungary's Gödölö Castle, well known from the mythical Empress Sissi. She is mad about Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream and an attempt is made to evoke this atmosphere using actors, gypsies and Siamese twins. The party however gets out of hand. As dawn breaks, the midsummer night's dream turns out to be a bloody nightmare. is a grotesque film with melodramatic element. The film is intended to form a duet with another film Christian Frosch is now making about the last Nazi film shot in Austria: Wiener Mädel.
