Based on a painting by Rembrandt, 'The Sacrifice of Isaac,' the film is a meditation on the complex relation between fathers and sons. It is a personal reflection on patriarchy - the system of social relations that breeds violence, domination and death. Metaphoric and magical, this film is a strange mixture of reality and fantasy.
