Willow springs

Early dream-like film shot entirely on location in Willow Springs in the American Mojave Desert.Schroeter set out with his married colleagues Christine Kaufmann, Ila von Hasperg and Magdalena Montezuma for Los Angeles to make a film about the statue of Marilyn Monroe. Once he arrived in America, he dropped the original plan in favour of the idea of making a film about the mutual relationships between the women who kept him company.
