Rit over de grens

First full-length feature by a film-maker who has earned her spurs with documentaries such as La Terra in Due and short films such as De mieren ('The Ants').Rit over de grens ('Ride across the border') is about the restless girl Nele (Christien Vroegop). Wherever she is, something is always missing and she always thinks she can find it somewhere else. Her friends are either too close or too far away. She has only just settled into Amsterdam with her dog Arako and furnished her home on wheels, a caravan, when she doesn't really know what to do next. So she leaves for Berlin.
