David Larcher has always had an exceptional position as an avant-garde film-maker in England. Nic Houghton: ‘Mention the name David Larcher to almost anyone in the avant-garde film scene and you’ll get stories of excess, wild times and Bohemian highlife’. He is a pioneer of diary filming. Three films will be screened from his opulent and versatile production.Eetc (1986) was produced with the aid of Channel Four as part of the project Arts for Television. The film comprises materi¡al on film and photos collected by Larcher over a long period and documenting his own past. The whole thing has been put together on video. The E in the title stands for Elisabeth.
