Episode from the life of the enlightened 18th-century Dutch writer and composer. Even as a married woman she maintained a candid correspondence with Benjamin Constant among others. Digna Sinke(1949) studied at the film academy and has since then gained experience of film-making from many sides. Her feature début Pacific Ocean (1974) was screened in competition in Berlin.
