An unusually-designed political variation on the police film, with biting dialogues and virtuoso acting. Using the so-called stop-motion technique, all the movements are slowed and jerky, achieving a stroboscopic effect. The cops are on the trail of a weird right-wing terrorist group. Cops and terrorists take turns in the limelight. The atmosphere and structure of the terrorist group looks like that of the Weathermen, the left-wing underground organisation which preached armed struggle in the United States in the early seventies. The terrorists spout an incredible amount of racist language in the film; using this extreme reversal, this video points out the existence of this phenomenon in the present-day American media.
