Tragi-comic action film about the hurried nature of the modern action-not-thought mentality. A man falls over a hedge and hits the pavement. He is frightened and in a great hurry. A cigarette calms him down and leads him into a series of situations and actions that all play tricks on him. It is five to twelve and he has an appointment at noon, but where and with whom? Then he wakes and a siren and other demons from his dream turn out to be disguised as relatives and familiar acquaintances. This is all to the accompaniment of music from the band Dull Schicksal. The film hardly has any dialogue and the story follows the bizarre logic of a dream.
