Those who saw John Woo's Bullet in the Head two years ago in Rotterdam know enough. This time the director again tells a stout, violent and incredibly fast-cut story which moves like a train. The most famous actor in Hong Kong, Chow Yun-fat, is inspector Yuen, who is fighting the arms- and drugs-smuggling of a gang which also includes Yuen's great rival, the hit-man Tony. The inspector is criticised for his needless violence, but perseveres in his struggle. Woo shows what happens to feelings like friendship and loyalty when the men face important choices.
