Fragments were borrowed from no less than forty-three different cartoon films for this dazzling compilation. Alchemia is freed from the rules of narrative and comprises an explosion of graphic ingenuity and the vitality of the cartoon. The fragments are from all times, genres and styles and put together in Alchemia as a cartoon firework; rhythms, forms and colours flow into each other separate sections are dissolved in an alchemical reaction which fashions them into a new unity.
