General terms and conditions and house rules
International Film Festival Rotterdam
1. When visiting IFFR locations, one declares to have taken notice of and agree to the terms and conditions and house rules as they apply during International Film Festival Rotterdam.
2. The general terms and conditions of International Film Festival Rotterdam can be found on the website, IFFR.com/general-conditions.
3. All visitors are obliged to follow instructions from the organisation, security and personnel.
4. It is strictly prohibited to carry weapons, weaponlike objects or any items that can be used as weapons. In case such objects are found, access to festival venues will be permanently refused. If a weapon listed in the Weapons and Ammunition Act is found, this will be reported to the police immediately.
5. It is prohibited to use, possess, trade or process drugs or hallucinogens. Violations of this provision will result in refusal of access and immediate reporting to the police.
6. Visitors are not allowed to consume their own drinks or food at IFFR locations.
7. Alcohol will not be served to minors. Proof of identity may be requested when purchasing alcoholic beverages.
8. Visitors are not allowed to bring their own recording equipment to festival locations.
9. Any visitor found guilty of violence or the threat of violence will be reported to the police.
10. The organisation reserves the right to deny anyone access to the festival at any time.
11. Access to all IFFR locations will be denied if:
a. One is in an apparent state of intoxication;
b. One is or has been involved in any way in disturbances, either inside or outside IFFR locations;
c. Insults are made towards staff and/or other visitors;
d. The general terms and conditions and house rules are not adhered to.
12. The management, the owners of the locations or personnel at IFFR locations cannot be held liable for any injuries and/or material or immaterial damages experienced by visitors.
13. Visitors may be asked to provide identification. In the Netherlands, one is required by law to carry identification.
14. Any form of hateful and/or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, fascism and/or nationalism, homophobia and/or transphobia.
15. The organisation reserves the right to record visitors upon entry or at festival locations using image and sound devices. These recordings can be used by the organisation without any obligation to provide monetary or other forms of compensation to visitors.
In the event of an emergency, the police will be notified.
