When are the VPRO Preview and Review Days?
The VPRO Preview Day will take place on Thursday 29 January 2026. The VPRO Review Day will take place on Friday 6 February 2026. There is also a morning/afternoon/evening programme during the VPRO Preview and Review Days. On both days the same programme will be shown.

The VPRO Preview Day takes place at Pathé Schouwburgplein and the Review Day at LantarenVenster.

How many films will I watch on the VPRO Preview and Review Days?
The VPRO Preview and Review days programme is a selection of five films put together by IFFR in collaboration with VPRO Cinema. The VPRO Preview and Review morning/afternoon/evening allows you to pick a time slot and watch two of the five films.

When will I know the programme of the VPRO Preview and Review Days?
The programme of the VPRO Preview and Review Days will be announced on Friday 9 January 2026. All films are shown in their original language. Although most films are subtitled in English, some will only have Dutch subtitles.

How long is the VPRO Preview and Review Days programme?
The VPRO Preview- and Review Days programme runs from 10:00 to 23:30 or 10:15 to 23:45 depending on the room you choose.

What is the VPRO Preview and Review morning/afternoon/evening programme?
The VPRO Preview and Review Days are divided into morning, afternoon and evening. The programme is a shortened version of the VPRO Preview and Review Days: two out of five films, and consists of three time slots to choose from:
VPRO Preview Day :
Morning: 10.15 – 14.15 | Afternoon: 15.00 – 19.00 | Evening: 19.45 – 23.45
VPRO Review Day :Morning: 10.00 – 14.00 | Afternoon: 14.45 – 18.45 | Evening: 19.30 – 23.30
We’ll screen the opening film twice, once in the morning and again as the final screening of the evening.

Why is there a VPRO Review Day after the VPRO Preview Day?
For those visitors who are not able to go to the VPRO Preview Day, VPRO and IFFR offer an extra opportunity to visit the same programme on the VPRO Review Day.

When and where can I buy tickets to the VPRO Preview and Review Days?
Tickets for the IFFR VPRO Preview and Review Days 2026 can be purchased online via IFFR.com from 28 November 2025. VPRO members will receive a ticket link for the pre-sale, which starts on 14 November 2025.

How much does a ticket to VPRO Preview and Review Days cost?
Tickets for the VPRO Preview and Review Days 2026 are €55 (standard rate) and €48 (youth rate, under 23). VPRO members can buy their tickets before 28 November with an early bird discount (€50 early bird rate and €45 early bird youth rate).

Tickets for the VPRO Preview and Review Days morning/afternoon/evening 2026 are €22 (standard rate) and €16 (youth rate, under 23). Buy your tickets before 28 November with an early bird discount (€20 early bird rate and €15 early bird youth rate).

Do I have to be a member of VPRO to be able to purchase tickets to the VPRO Preview and Review Days?
Everyone can purchase tickets to the VPRO Preview and Review Days. VPRO members have access to the pre-sale for both days and can buy up to four tickets per member. The pre-sale for VPRO members starts on Friday 14 November 2025.
