When and where can I purchase tickets for the IFFR Volkskrantdag?
Tickets for the IFFR Volkskrantdag 2025 can be purchased online via IFFR.com/specials from 4 December 2024 at 10.00. De Volkskrant subscribers will receive a ticket link for the pre-sale that starts on 25 November 2024. A ticket for the IFFR Volkskrantdag 2025 costs €50.

When will the programme and routes of the IFFR Volkskrantdag be announced?
When you purchase a ticket you will receive your route number (this is on your e-ticket). On Saturday February 8, 2025, one day before the IFFR Volkskrantdag, you will receive an email from us and you can look up your route number via IFFR.com/vkroutes or find it in your account where both the route and the film program can be found.

Can I change routes for the IFFR Volkskrantdag?
After your purchase, tickets to the IFFR Volkskrantdag cannot be swapped or returned. If you would like to change routes, you can post on the IFFR Volkskrantdag message board on Facebook, which will be activated in December. The board is meant as an exclusive service to IFFR Volkskrantdag visitors and is not moderated by the festival.

How can I pre-order a lunch bag for the IFFR Volkskrantdag?
Lunch bags can be only pre-ordered through our website and cost €15. They can only be picked up at de Doelen – Willem Burger Hall and include two vegetarian sandwiches, a piece of fruit and a drink. Pre-orders for a Volkskrantdag lunch bag end on February 3, 2025, 10.00.
Due to the distance between Nieuwe Luxor and Lantarenvenster to de Doelen, we recommend visitors who bought tickets for Nieuwe Luxor and LantarenVenster to pick up their lunch bag before their first screening or not use the lunch bag option but instead arrange their own lunch or make use of the restaurants on-site.
Visitors who purchase a lunch bag will receive detailed instructions regarding the pickup location, time, and process as the date approaches.

What is included in a lunch bag?
A lunch bag includes:
- One sandwich with old cheese, muhammara, cucumber and rucola.
- One sandwich with hummus, grilled almonds and rucola.
- One piece of fruit and one drink.
The lunch bags will be served in environmentally friendly disposables.

When and where can I pick up my lunch bag during the IFFR Volkskrantdag?
Lunch bags can be picked up on Sunday 9 February 2025 at de Doelen – Willem Burger Hall between 9.00 and 13.00.
Visitors who purchase a lunch bag will receive detailed instructions regarding the pickup location, time, and process as the date approaches.

Is there a programme supplement with de Volkskrant this year?
In 2025, there will be no programme supplement sent with De Volkskrant. Instead, a special will be included in the center of de Volkskrant on Saturday, January 11 2025. The complete Programme Magazine (Dutch) will also be available in the online/PDF newspaper of Volkskrant on January 18 and, starting January 13 2025, can be picked up at various locations (cinemas/film theaters/cultural institutions/hospitality venues) across the country (Dutch version only). It will also be downloadable from IFFR.com. During the festival, the Programme Magazine (both Dutch and English) will be available at all locations.

Why is there no programme supplement with de Volkskrant this year?
The Volkskrant has stopped including extra supplements with the print newspaper as of 2024. Unfortunately, this means it is no longer possible for IFFR to include it as was done in previous years.

Why do Volkskrant subscribers get access to a pre-sale?
De Volkskrant is the main sponsor of the International Film Festival Rotterdam and therefore supports the festival. Part of this main sponsorship includes an exclusive pre-sale for de Volkskrant subscribers at events of which de Volkskrant is a partner.
