Find your film
IFFR screens more films than there are hours in the day. But how do you find the ones you want to see? In this blog, we explain the different programme strands and share a few tips and tricks to help you navigate the film selection.
The programme
There are two ways to view the full programme on IFFR.com:
Both overviews offer a range of filters, from production countries to subtitling and location, to help you navigate the programme.
Favourites
Before you start browsing the programme, we recommend you create an account on IFFR.com (if you don’t have one already). There, you can add favourites from the programme and quickly access the films that you’re interested in seeing.
Programme strands
The IFFR festival programme is divided into different programme strands, which you’ll see indicated by coloured labels next to each film. Click on the button below to read more about what names like Limelight, Cinema Regained and RTM mean.
Genre labels
Would you like to choose your films based on a particular genre? Then take a look at our genre labels, where we’ve grouped many of this year’s feature films into categories such as Crime, Documentary, LGBTQIA+ and Animation.
Tips
At IFFR, we’re lucky enough to have partners who love cinema as much as we do. See our Partner Tips blogs from CJP, Cineville, We Are Public and VPRO for their tips – and learn about their discounts.
