Code of conduct
IFFR greatly values respect and safety. IFFR does not tolerate violence or harassment of any kind towards its staff, contractors, volunteers and/or visitors at the festival. Our Code of Conduct applies to everyone involved in the festival.
The full Code of Conduct can be accessed via the button below.
IFFR also endorses and applies the principles of the Governance Code Cultuur, Fair Practice Code and Code Diversiteit & Inclusie. For more information on the Code of Conduct, please contact our People & Culture department via hr@IFFR.com.
Reporting undesirable behaviour
If you feel unsafe or experience undesirable behaviour while at IFFR, we are here for you. IFFR has internal and external counsellors available, who will take action promptly and handle your concern confidentially. You can reach People & Culture at hr@IFFR.com. We listen, ask what you need and, if it helps, put you in touch with one of our confidential counsellors. Formal complaints can also be submitted with People & Culture.
Internal confidential counsellors
IFFR has appointed two internal confidential counsellors. They offer guidance and support to employees and anyone else with a concern about undesirable behaviour, such as sexual harassment, bullying, aggression, violence or an unreasonable workload. They listen and help you think through your options. Conversations are confidential and nothing happens without your consent.
Mores: independent support
Would you rather not contact anyone at IFFR? Mores is the independent reporting point for undesirable behaviour in the cultural, creative and media sector. Its confidential counsellors work independently and are not obliged to share their conversations with IFFR. Contact them on WhatsApp (06 12163326) or visit mores.nl. You can find out more about how Mores works, and what options you have if you want to report something, at mores.nl/en.
Formal complaints
Any formal complaints are handled by an independent complaints committee. The committee investigates whether the complaint is justified and advises IFFR’s Board of Directors, who decide on the measures to take. The committee also checks whether these measures have resolved the situation.
