Udomdej's inspiration for this film came from two well-known films from the noir-genre, Body Heat and The Postman Always Rings Twice. He combined elements from these films with true stories from the north of Thailand. A convicted safe-cracker escapes from jail and comes to a gas station where he meets a rich old man and his wife. The woman hears about his background and persuades him to rob the old man of his money. There's a setback and both parties learn each other's true natures. This web of deceit gets bigger and bigger as the film introduces new characters, among them a second criminal, and the first parody is almost repeated. The film won a prize at the Asia Pacific Film Festival.
