Yu Chih-chieh
YU Chih-chieh (Taiwan) is a filmmaker and a graduate of the National Taiwan University of Arts. His work has been recognised across student and emerging-talent platforms. His short Contained (2022) won Best Student Narrative at the 44th Golden Harvest Awards and screened at festivals including the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers. His graduation film Redacted (2024) received the Jury Special Award at the 46th Golden Harvest Awards, the Magnetic Award at the FIRST Fantastic Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize at In Moments Film Festival. Isolation (2025) was supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture, Taipei Film Festival and Golden Horse FPP, where it received the TAICCA Original Award. His latest short The Last Jiangshi (2026, short) is screening at IFFR 2026.
