Sasha Kulak

Sasha’s work in film spans a variety of visual projects ranging from documentary to fashion and music videos to photography. Her films have taken her across the world with her first award-winning documentary Salamanca (2015), premiering at IDFA 2015 and screening at HotDocs, Camden and a number of other festivals. Another recent feature of Sasha’s Quicksilver Chronicles (2019), premiered at the Visions du Reel festival. Sasha’s latest project is A Hawk as Big as a Horse (2022). The film is produced with the support of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and is a grant recipient from the Sundance Institute. Sasha’s films explore fascinating and bizarre stories of heroes and communities living on the margins of society.
