John Early

John EARLY (1988, USA) is an actor, comedian, writer and filmmaker working across film, television and theatre. His HBO stand-up special Now More Than Ever (2023) received critical acclaim and earned Emmy and Critics’ Choice nominations. He was also nominated for an Emmy for the A24 sketch special Would It Kill You to Laugh? (2022, TV), which he created and starred in with Kate Berlant. Early starred in five seasons of HBO Max’s Search Party (2016, TV series) and appeared in Stress Positions (2024), which premiered in the USA Dramatic Competition at Sundance. His work blends heightened performance, satire and emotional vulnerability.
