Gerd Gockell

Gerd GOCKELL (1960, Germany) studied graphic design and film at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig. Gockell began his career as a freelance animator for Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt. He produced several short animated films and co-founded Anigraf Filmproduktion. Since 1992, he has taught experimental animation at HBK Braunschweig. From 2002 to 2012, he was head of the animation department at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Luzern.
