Eric Marcus Weglehner

Eric Marcus WEGLEHNER (Austria, 1992) is a director and screenwriter. Born in Austria, Eric M. Weglehner studied MultiMediaArt at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg where he specialized in directing and screenwriting. Afterwards he attended the School for Independent Film Friedl Kubelka in Vienna. His short film Shower (2020) was shown at the Moscow International Film Festival and at the Diagonale in Austria. Furthermore his latest film à mes côtés (2024) premiered at the 45th Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival, was shown at the Diagonale, the Vienna Shorts and is also part of the program of the IFFR 2025. Eric is currently studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg.
