David Tancred Lammers
David TANCRED LAMMERS (1972, Netherlands) graduated in film directing from the Netherlands Film Academy in 2001. His graduation film Alfred Maassen’s Last Day (2002) was selected for Cannes Cinefondation 2002 and won a Golden Calf for Best Short at the Netherlands Film Festival. Subsequently, David wrote and directed the mid-length film Snacken (2004) and his debut feature Northern Light (Tiger Competition IFFR 2006). From his ambition to gain a deep understanding of the medium and the craft of directing, storytelling and genre, David has worked on many television projects since his debut film, both as writer and director. In addition, he has set up several television series as a creative producer/showrunner, such as Pupkin’s series Bellicher, Force and Godforsaken. Currently, he is developing the script for his second feature film The Yellow Dot.
