Achitaphon Piansukprasert
Achitaphon PIANSUKPRASERT (1995, Thailand) is a mixed-media artist, writer, and filmmaker working across theatrical cinema, site-specific film, and exhibition-based art. His practice combines fiction, animation, and experimental approaches to storytelling. His debut short Fall in Love (2016) screened at the Girona Film Festival and Bideodromo Experimental Film Festival, while The Scar of River (2018) was selected for the Thai Short Film & Video Festival. His feature film The Lady’s Tale screened at independent cinemas and Bogotá Experimental Film Festival, and his animated feature Blood Rain won the Golden Ganja Award at the Amazing Stoner Movie Fest in 2023. Alongside filmmaking, he exhibits mixed-media installations and writes on film and literature, and he lectures in film and media art.
