Tanu Gago

Tanu GAGO (1983, Western Samoa) is an interdisciplinary artist who works as a filmmaker, visual artist, photographer, curator and producer. He studied performing arts at Unitec Institute of Technology and he majored in writing and directing for screen. Gago is the creative director of Pacific LGBT Arts Collective FAFSWAG, which he co-founded with his life partner Pati Solomona Tyrell. In his work, Gago investigates ethnic and gender identities.
