Romano Scandariato

Romano Scandariato (1938–2010 Croatia/Italy) was an Italian filmmaker and screenwriter. He worked within the Italian film industry as a director, writer, and assistant director, contributing to a wide range of popular and genre productions from the 1970s onwards. Scandariato is associated with films such as Zombi Holocaust (1980), L’ammiratrice (1983), and La ragazza del metrò (1989). Alongside his directing work, he collaborated extensively behind the scenes, reflecting the collaborative production culture of Italian commercial cinema during this period.
