Qiu Yang

QIU Yang (China) was born and raised in Changzhou and studied filmmaking at the Victorian College of the Arts in Australia. He was the first-ever Chinese director to win a Golden Palm at the Cannes film festival for his short film A Gentle Night in 2017. O [5×1] is his first VR work. He is currently working on his first feature film, a longer version of the prior short Under the Sun that was selected for CineMart at IFFR in 2016.
