Nele Wohlatz

Filmmaker Nele WOHLATZ (1982, Germany) studied scenography and philosophy at the University of Applied Arts Karlsruhe and film at the University Torcuato Di Tella, Buenos Aires, where she has been living since 2009. Her films have been shown at festivals such as Locarno, IFFR, Viennale, Mar del Plata International Film Festival and institutions such as the Lincoln Center, New York and MoMA. Her solo feature debut El futuro perfecto won multiple awards and was invited to more than 70 international film festivals. In 2020, she was a resident at Villa Aurora in Los Angeles and a guest teacher at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg. Wohlatz has received support from the Hubert Bals Fund for development.
