Natalia Meta
Natalia META is an Argentine writer and director. Her film The Intruder (2020) premiered in Berlinale’s Official Competition and was later selected for San Sebastián and London, amongst others. The film was the Argentine entry for the Oscars 2021. Her debut film Death in Buenos Aires (2014) was nominated in the category of Best First Film at the National Academy Awards in Argentina (Premios Sur) and was selected in Guadalajara, La Habana, and BiFan Bucheon, amongst others.
Natalia also co-produced films such as Un amor (2011) by Paula Hernández, Las acacias (2011) by Pablo Giorgelli (Camera d’Or in Cannes), and Zama (2017) by Lucrecia Martel.
She has a degree in Philosophy and graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). In 2006 she founded the publishing house La Bestia Equilátera together with Luis Chitarroni and Diego D’Onofrio.
