Naïm El Hajj
Naïm EL HAJJ is a Lebanese director born in San Jose, Costa Rica. He holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University and is based in Beirut. He has participated in several exhibitions, including the Biennale (BJCEM) in Thessaloniki, and was shortlisted for the Arte Laguna Prize in 2016 for his installations. Recently, El Hajj has shifted his focus to cinema. In 2024, his essay film Inevitable Nils and Nothings in Between (Introduction) was selected for the International Video Poetry Festival in Athens and won the Best Essay Film award at the Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente de Madrid.
