Marta Hryniuk
Marta Hryniuk HRYNIUK (1991, Poland) is a visual artist, filmmaker and cultural organiser based in Rotterdam. She has worked with Nick Thomas since 2019, collaborating on films, as well as programming, leading workshops, and assisting in video and sound production for other artists and filmmakers. Hryniuk and Thomas are founding members of WET film, a Rotterdam-based film and video collective, and are members of Filmwerkplaats, an artist-run lab for 16mm film processing. Their film Forces (2020) is in the Eye Experimental collection. They have received fellowships from Nederlands Filmfonds, Centrum Beeldende Kunst Rotterdam, Stichting Niemeijer and Mondriaan Fonds. Their film Centre for Creativity (2024) was selected for IFFR 2024.
