Mark Dorf
Mark DORF (US) is a New York-based artist and director working across moving image, photography, digital media and sculpture. His practice examines how technological systems, ecological crisis and media saturation shape contemporary perceptions of the natural world. Originally trained as a photographer, Dorf’s practice evolved into time-based media grounded in digital animation and internet art. His films and installations employ processes such as algorithmic design, compositing, real-time manipulation and appropriated online material. His work has been presented internationally at institutions including the Museum für Gestaltung, the Frankfurter Kunstverein and the Foam Photography Museum.
