Lisette Olsthoorn

Lisette OLSTHOORN (the Netherlands) is a Dutch-based filmmaker whose work centers on close observation and, at times, subtle staging of social interactions. Her films reveal shared experiences alongside underlying political and economic tensions. She has made films on museum attendants, microworkers and platform-economy drivers, examining how power, solidarity and vulnerability are negotiated in everyday working conditions. Her work moves fluidly between experimental documentary, fiction and installation.
