Karthik Subbaraj
Karthik SUBBARAJ is an Indian filmmaker who studied Mechatronics at Thiagarajar College of Engineering in Madurai, India. During his college days, he performed stage shows and skits. His first film, the low-budget Pizza (2012) was a commercial success. This gave him the opportunity to make Cold Heart (2014), which received positive reviews. He then made Iraivi (2016), which was praised for the film’s portrayal of Indian society’s treatment of women. In 2024, he joins IFFR with Jigarthanda Double X (2023).
