Jan Komasa

Jan KOMASA (1981) studied at the Lodz film school, attended a music course and plays professional piano. The short film Fajnie, ze jestes/Good You’re Here won the third prize of the Cinéfondation at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. In 2009 he made his first feature Suicide Room, which premiered at Berlin Film Festival. Corpus Christi, which premiered at Venice film festival, was selected as the Polish entry for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards.
