Dana Najlis
Filmmaker, producer and film critic Dana NAJLIS (Argentina) studied Music Composition, Film Direction and Contemporary Film and Audiovisual Studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She publishes regularly in the Argentine magazine La Vida Útil as well as in several foreign magazines and international academic publications. Her research work is focused on Classical Hollywood cinema and the short film The Hidden Gesture. War and melodrama in Hollywood’s 30s and 40s, selected for IFFR 2023, is her debut as a director.
