Amirali Navaee

Amirali NAVAEE (1982, Iran) is a film director, choreographer and video artist, born in 1982 during the Iran-Iraq war, an event that significantly shaped his artistic vision. Influenced by the profound works of ancient Iranian poets like Rumi and the rich history of art and cinema, Navaee has carved a unique path in the creative world. From a young age, he engaged in performing arts, creating compelling dance pieces, films and video installations. Navaee’s work has been featured at renowned international festivals such as International Film Festival Rotterdam, Berlinale, Venice Film Festival, Oberhausen Film Festival, IETM and Body Talks Zurich. His innovative approach has garnered multiple awards, including the Talent Award at the Intervideo Film Festival and the Best Director Award at Eastern Breeze in Canada.
