In this colourful and outrageous animated musical, an awkward teenage boy navigates his first sexual experience – meanwhile, inside his scrotum, a nervous sperm prepares to embark on the journey of a lifetime. A gleefully gross, deceptively sweet coming of age story with a difference.
In this colourful, hilarious and gleefully outrageous animated musical, an awkward teenager navigates losing his virginity – while, at the same time, inside his scrotum, millions of sperm prepare to embark on the ultimate adventure.
Jens has never shown much interest in girls before, but when he meets Lisa on a weekend away, that all changes. As hormones start firing, nerdy Simen and his best friend Cumila prepare to graduate from sperm school equipped with a limited knowledge of the human body and one clear objective: be the first to reach that egg. An epic journey follows, as Simen and Cumila compete with millions of their fellow swimmers against seemingly impossible odds, for the honour of being the one in a million to spark the miracle of life.
Spermageddon is a wild original, a coming of age story told from an angle you’ve never seen before: think Inside Out (2015) meets Superbad (2007)for the Pornhub era. Yet it’s not all grossout provocation: behind the filthy puns, fiendishly catchy songs and inventive sight gags (from swirling spermatozoa performing Busby Berkley routines, to a singing E.coli) lies a winning pro-sex, pro-choice message, which might be just the tonic for our trying times.
