Direct naar zijbalk
To mark the events surrounding 75 years of the reconstruction of Rotterdam, a city that now has inhabitants who come from 175 different countries, IFFR asked six filmmakers from all corners of the world to make a cinematographic reflection on the theme of ‘reconstruction’. Four of them took the old life that was left behind as a point of departure, to then see how a character copes building a new existence; two makers were asked to focus on the moment of arrival.
