My Throat, My Air documents life at home with former director, Fassbinder actor and Warhol collaborator Ulli Lommel. Rather than shooting a straight documentary about this bohemian household, Fahrenholz follows the impulses of Lommel’s stepchildren, inviting the possibility of a self-fictionalising realism.
