Vom innen; von aussen

The procedure looks simple. The naked film maker stands in a black box and with his film camera he shoots one single frame. So it is a photo. But imagine that you need 24 photos for one second of film. So, 1,440 for one minute and 28,800 for this film. In order to indicate that Sackl did not only lack shame, but also a lot of patience. Vom innen; von aussen is avant-garde, but also goes back to the earliest years of film, or maybe even earlier, to the time of the legendary photographer Muybridge, who knew even before the invention of film how many frames fit in a second.
